They are allowed to come dressed for the day but please keep in mind the following:

    They will be outdoors for recess and lunch time play on the school playgrounds
    Students in grades primary to grade 3 have physical education in the afternoon
    Students are not allowed to wear costume masks - we are already wearing a mask for COVID
    All extra equipment - like swords, knives, guns and other weapons - are not allowed
    Student need to be able to use the washroom easily with the costume on
    Families do not mind if the clothing gets dirty from outside play

If you do not celebrate Halloween, no problem!  Costumes are not mandatory as not everyone participates.  Homemade costumes or second hand costumes are always a plus.  Or your child can always just wear black and orange.

The school will be providing each classroom with Halloween treats. The treats will be varied, while respecting nut, milk, and gluten allergies.
