Today's decision was based on the following information:  Two periods of snow last night and this morning have or are forecast to deliver 10-15 cm of snow throughout the region.  Snow will continue until 8 am in the western areas of HRM and to 10 am in the eastern areas.
Due to the timing and accumulation of snow, roads and sidewalks will not be clear in time to open schools on either a regular or delayed schedule today.
